Lag in Night Maps

Ok, I'm getting really bad stuttering in all the the BF2:SF Night Maps, yet I know its not a case of having a crap PC as my PC runs BF2 on ~50FPS and BF2142 ~40FPS (Titan) on all high 1280x1024 AA 4X. I have the following setup:

Windows Vista Home Premium (Please don't jump on the "ITS V15T4 LAL COZ ITS CR4P" bandwagon UNLESS you have PROOF that it could be Vista)
Intel C2D E6300
Foxconn P9657AA Mobo
nVidia 7900GS 256mb
2GB Corsair VS RAM
Hiper Type-R Modular 530W PSU
Hitachi 150GB 7200rpm HDD

I remember having a problem like this with my other AMD setup (X2 4800+/7800GTX 256/2GB RAM) and I sorted it out somehow, but I can't remember how :cry:

Any help would be appreciated.

Sorted, I downloaded the new 101.41 Beta Drivers and now I get no lag.

Hi!
I have the same problems in SF night maps with a Go 7900 GS 256mb,
what drivers and where you download them?
and could be another reasons/fixes for this problem?

I downloaded the nVidia Vista 101.41 Beta Drivers:

I didn't expect the drivers to sort it as I didn't see any mention of Night Map stuttering.

Edit: Wait, I just noticed that nVidia doesn't provide Vista Drivers with Geforce Go support:

There is a new Windows Vista Beta driver release available to download from NVIDIA now. This is a new driver which will support GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series graphics boards; it does not support GeForce Go mobile GPUs. Please continue to check with your notebook manufacturer for a new driver for GeForce Go GPUs. GeForce FX users should continue to use the v96.85 driver.

At this time, the drivers available on NVIDIA.com do not support notebook GPUs. Many NVIDIA notebook GPUs have Windows Vista drivers already built into the operating system and install the first time you run Windows Vista. Notebook GPU driver support is provided directly from the manufacturer, so please consult your manufacturer for an updated NVIDIA notebook GPU driver.

So, like it says, try contacting your Laptop provider and see if they have any updated drivers. Sorry I can't be of any more help.
