Not letting me unlock 2nd weapon?

Well before I get yelled at and what not, I searched the forums and found nothing specific to my question.

I unlocked the 1st sniper weapon, then when I gained next rank I wanted to unlock the 2nd weapon; however, I was not able to select it from the list so I choose to unlock later. I quit and restarted only to find it was still not letting me choose it from the list. I ended up picking the Spec-Ops gun as it is one of my fav kits so no biggie; however, why would it not let me pick the 2nd unlock for sniper?

do you have special forces... if not, you havent searched enough

Well Mr. Smarty pants, I searched some more and found the SAME answer, "you need to unlock the 1st tier before you can unlock the 2nd tier"

which is exaclty what I am, getting at as I am on my 3rd rank, 2nd rank for unlocking and it would NOT let me pick my 2nd upgrade as I already unlocked the 1st sniper upgrade. So I chose the Spec-Ops 1st weapon.

Special Forces in an expansion to bf2, if you have it you get 2 unlocks for every promotion if you don't you only get one unlock and also you wont be able to get the sniper secondary weapon you want.

Ahh ok, so it temps we with the 2nd unlocks by showing them to me but I cannot access them without SF.

you dont have to own it, just ask somebody to play a few rounds on your account and you'll get em..

i had the same problem and the solution is simple.

Go to a friend s house that has the SF expansion pack, Log in under your BF2 nickname, play 1 round (you must score some points!), then when you get home you will be able to unlock the 3rd tier weaponry!

alternatively, there are some very nice people on here that will go online in SF under your name and play the round for you!

Just ask nicely!

how many more times are noobs never going to use the search button and/or get off their *** and look in the stickys.

Awww puddin pop, you just had to type in noob to get your post in didn't you. My question was already answered so your extra tid bit was a 100% waste, thanks anyways.

I just searched 2nd tier unlocks (which I never searched @ 1st) and found my answer on the 7th page in; so my bad for searching "unlock 2nd weapon" as I thought that was more than enough info for my question, and finding nothing as I never searched 2nd tier as I never though of calling it that. I'm such a noob!

Can't wait until you need help in something other than computer video games (oh mighty master) then someone can slap a noob on you.

id be glad to help removing my shot gun from ur back after ive pulled the trigger,

you clearley don know me, i have help many people in my life, so if you don't like that. then leave the argument in is thread and go buy another game cos bf2 doesn't need another noob like you.

Well I am glad you help people out as we sorta need it...I wouldn't have asked the question if I never needed help. That's why I joined this forum, to get help, not to get bashed by some person who cant type or spell.

Also, everyone starts out as noobs, I have owned BF2 for about 2 weeks or so and I suggest you give us noobs a chance to start out and gain some exp. Who do you think favors your k/d ratio?
