If a pilot spawns as engineer, can a pilot whose plane is damaged fly in close formation with him and have his plane fixed? Could an engineer pilot fly towards damaged arty, UAV, satellite scan and insta-repair it like you can in a land vehicle?

Ive already flown over blown up artillery on arty island and repaired it, therfore if you fly in close formation you WILL repair the other jet

I've accidentally repaired another jet while we were doing coordinated airstrikes. We would fly side-by-side on our way to the target and I got a little close and clipped his wing and immediately started repairing the damage. Useful if you're low on health from ground aa or something and need a mobile repair, since maybe the carrier is getting raped by a mig or whatnot.

Did you also know that when an attack chopper gets damaged the pilot can hover over a vehicle, with support and engineer, and you can repair and rearm. Also a supply crate works pretty good too.

Hmm......That might be another good reason to have good team work in this game.

As a side note, when Im commander I usually will drop most supply crates close to a tank. That way its easy to find by everyone on my team. It also helps keep the armor and most of the team working together. Hope this helps. . . . .Red

yeah it does, ive flown by falling supply crates and i hear that wrenching sound. Flying by other jets too. even though like already stated its easier to fly over airstrip and if baserape not allowed land.

Totally off subject but I was just kicked from the alien server for "not being a team player". I had stolen the MEC bomber and was flying for about 10 minutes with some alien admin...probably 8 or 9 years old....typing in chat for me to pick him up at the carrier. He kicked me when I didnt. Oh well, fark him.
