Just wondering about other players but after playing Battlefield 2 I got bored of a lot of games. I played CS a little about 2 years ago now I doubt I could really play that, after playing BF2. Then playing CS, considering CS is kind of simple like one objective, small map etc. Same with other games. I can play them I just kind of get bored after a while, not on all games just quite a few specific ones, anyone else get this?

yes bf2 is a great game, one of the best. i think people say it is crap because of what EA has done with all the patches. But really, the only reason you care so much people is because you want a great game to become perfect, which is almost impossible. -

Well, BF2 has dominated over 500 hours of my life in the past 18 months (not including all the time on these fora and BF2 related websites).
I cannot name a single game that has done the same. Civilizaition 3 & 4 were a lot of fun, and I played them a lot, but no where near 500 hours. Madden was great back when my friends and I would play seasons together. I played Diablo 2 for almost 5 years.

Same as davelisowski. I don't remember any games that occupied me as much as Battlefield 2, maybe it's the fact that we're aware of our total time. And I thought no game would exceed my 130 hour playtime from FFX.Comment

It has happened to all of us, I think. For me its a combo of 2 things. When I was little, 8 or 9 maybe, I would play with my little plastic army man set. For hours and hours shooting killing and all that, imagined in my mind. I always would feel pumped up, kind of a rush, afterwords. Now I play BF2 almost everyday, some, and its the same thing. All the shooting, killing with the little soldiers just to get the rush.
So I guess the older we get the more we change and remain the same. Still, its addictive. I guess Im just an action and rush junkie. . . . . . . . .RedComment

lol that server is so... medoekre. you have all sorts of newbies (relatively) versus a team of .. well... well-stacked players. And who ends up winning? The newbies. I was glad i was on their team. I had fun in the jet, but overall good server. The rule "Attack uncap only after all flags are taken" can be adjusted to "attack uncap whenever". No complaints here.Originally posted by N2K
