wont rank up

hi all, i just got past 500 points and it wont rank up any ideas why?

Sometimes it takes a bit,Not totally sure why but,log back in,to another server,and if once you get a kill,you may go up.
or maybe once you log back into bf2 totally it may be there.

In the weekends it can take two days or so. Some are stickied though don't have much to do with this thread but stilll it could be helpful.
