7600 Gt

is the nvidia 7600 GT worht buying, i have a 7300 gs and was told i need to upgrade, im also thinking of going back to XP because its gonna cost me 300 dollars to upgrade just to get my games to work, lol any one looking for premium for 90 bucks? only installed once. anyways is that 7600 gt a good card and how smooth does BF2 look, if any one has this card and wouldnt mind taking pics of say planes or tanks id appreciate it

a 7600 gt will run bf2 on medium to high depending on ur ram amount,i run mine on all high with 4x AA,and yes it will be a HUGE improvement over the 7300.

my dad has a 7800 GTX and his graphics look fantastic, i bought that 7300 when i was in the military last year but how much different is the graphic detail, can u take a pic so i can compare mine to that?

and what does the 4x AA do??

ok heres what my graphics used to look like on a 5500fx

notice hoe everything is jagged and not smooth
this is with the 7600gt

here everyhting is smooth no jagged edges,that is what AA does.

i was trying to get a 7900 but i dont have that kinda money, plus i dont see very much difference, or is there something im missing in the 2 lol

hahaaha no no no,thats the mod form 21cw,actually the mod from last campaign,they made a new one with a bunch of new content and stuff,the laser aiming is standard in 21cw as it is far different than pub play.

And a laser dot in the middle of your screen isnt a "hack" in the first place, muppet. It's far harder to aim with that than the crosshairs because they don't show deviation.

i would go for the ati x1900 pro myself much better and a very good price 36 pixel pipelines the 7600 has 14,16

yea but i have always been told nvidia is more of a gaming card and thats all i have used i dont know much about ATI

i have one, and i can run bf2 at all high, and it only cost me 100 after rebates. So, yeah, i would say go for it.

According to the post below it appears to be a hack, but who am i, a "Muppet" to argue. See screen shots provided below and you'll see what i mean. look at the screens under laser dot hack.
