    Question on Points

is it possible to get 450 points and not get banned or reset, i have seen guys play high points rooms and get over 400 points and if they were commander they would have 800 or more. Is that in the lines of reseting or banning?

Why do you even bother posting such a response. Obviously the OP cares and if you don't, don't post.

It's possible, but I think EA would need to have direct evidence that they were doing something wrong instead of just looking at their stats. But in reality, I don't think EA really cares and it's obvious that Monkmonkman doesn't.

Better me telling him then him wasting his time contacting EA, and getting the same response.

Telling him what, that nobody cares?

Sorry, but I think even EA can give a better answer than that.

A simple response of 'yes' or 'no' could have done it.

I knew someone (not very well but I did know him) who ran a server. He and maybe 3 or 4 others would get on there every night a pad (I mean the hardcore padding). One time I was talking to him on xfire and I remember him saying that he had hit 1000+ in a round. I know that he got reset. But he did this every night and had to have gotten many tens of thousands of points that way. I don't know if there is a magic number of points to hit for your BR score that will get you reset but I would say 600 would be really pushing it if you came under the spotlight. Best bet, if you like your stats play clean. You could probably pad like there is no tomorrow and not get reset, but you WILL NOT get reset if you don't break the rules.

400 points as commander... sounds like he was doing a little humvy squading...

An unusual high score alone will not get a player's stats reset.

my highest is 411 on Karkand, wasnt padding, round went on FFFOOORRREEEVVVEEERRRR!!!!! wasnt many people on the server and i was medic (which i never go, just trying to get the hours in, so i aint a medic whore). So it is possible. If i had 800 as infantry then yeh maybe a bit suss

i was just curious because i have seen high points games and if i was in one and got like 300 i didnt want my ****e to be reset lol, i have always heard of people getting reset because of massive points, it just seemed fishy and i wanted to check before i did high points. It took me forever to get my points lol, i just got out of the military so i might ahve alittle more time to rank

Unless you go to the top ten, I know for a fact they will not reset you, regardless how much you stat pad, etc. EA doesn't give a **** about BF2 anymore.

Evidence is needed to reset someone for a such a time.

if you have like 6-8 people in a 64 player server, its definitely possible. my friend used to play them all the time, the games went on for hours. its terribly boring, but a lot people dont realize that you could get the same amount of points in the same amount of time, just more rounds on a normal server
