amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ 2 gb memort and mainboard
sapphire radeon x1950pro ultimate edition
black diamong power supply 500w
413 no vat
will it be good for bf2 and will the power supply work for the set i[
Technically it looks like it will run BF2 great, mostly high at at least 1280x1024.
I'd prefer going Core 2 with my money, but that's my money, and you can't have it. :)
Which motherboard? Speed of RAM? If those are both decent, then it looks like a good enough deal. If the company you're buying it from is dredging the bottom of the barrel, you may be in for some headaches.

~‡~ Gateway AMD 64 X2 3800+
1024 DDR ram
Nvidia 7300 GS - soon to be 7600 GT or 7900 GT
350 Watt Power Supply - Soon to be 600
Windows Vista - Soon To be XP again
Sound Blaster Audigy SE ~‡~
anyone have a 7600 GT? if so is it worth buying and how much better in graphic detail will it show versus my piece of crap 7300 GS
I have a similar setup to you snakegs. Same processor, 2 Gigs of RAM. The 7600GT runs on my computer 1280x1024 everything high, 4x AA at 70-85FPS. Great card and cheap, get another gig of RAM though, w/o it my FPS was erratic.
see i had a radeon 9250 and thats all, i am not keen on ATI products plus i was told Nvidia runs BF2 the best. I have that crappy 7300, lol now when i visit my old man he has 1.5 intel D 7800 GTX and that is smooth. The only way i can upgrade is if i sell my Radeon 9250 256mb, my 300 watt supply and my 7300 GS 256mb PCIE, lol other then that im screwed, when your married with a kid and just get out of the military money... well lets just say for my sake making money is a crime lol
7600gt > 7300 by a lot and the 9250 is a really old card, so its not good to judge ATI with that old card. and im not sure if u can, but if u want better sound quality, u can try setting it to hardware becuz i think it will just be more strain on ur cpu, but ur cpu is pretty powerful itself
