if your talking about the switch on the PSU where you can change the voltage i would leave it to whatever its set to, if you change it you will burnout your PSU & possibly your motherboard aswell,,

theres AGP version of the x1950pro but i think the power requirements are the same

Methinks someone is in desperate need of reading up on how electricity works. The only reason that switch is there is so that the psu manufacturer's only need to make one model of power supply instead of two for use in places that use either 120 v (North America) or 220/230 v (most of the rest of the world), it has nothing to do with how much the psu puts out.

when i bought my nvidia 7300 i had a 300 watt supply, my computer wouldnt even turn on, i had to go out and buy a 350 watt, if the card says 350 or 400 i would recommend to go at least 50 to 100 watts higher just to get maximum performance out of the card. I have a 350 watt supply and my card requires 350 lol so it sucked just about everything out of it, i am upgrading to a 650 here soon but i have always been told go higher then the recommend requires because then you dont have to worry about what power is required or how much you need, if you have more its always better.
