Do you get points for supplies after quick kit switches

If I quick switch kits from the ground do I get the points for the supplies I leave on the ground?

Say, I come up on a Support kit bag and switch kits. Then I throw all the ammo bags on the ground. Then I switch back to my Assult kit. Do I get the points when people pick up the ammo I threw down?

I am not a stat padder, I just was thinking and hurt myself. So, I though I would ask the question.

yes, you do

the points (and kills for mines) get scored on the kit you are holding at the time, though.

yep, thats why I usually always pick up a kit of a fallen enemy, if its sniper/engy I throw down their clays/mines, if its medic/support I throw down some health/ammo packs then pick up my kit if I want it back, kinda weird when your sitting on top of a building as a sniper and you see yourself getting points for ammo or heals

They only last for like 25 seconds after you drop the kit again. So don't think it's even effective.

Yeah, once the kit disappears so does the ammo/health bag, claymores, mines, etc. In that case, you can't get the points because the item that gives you the points does not exist. Get it?

It's worth it though. Always.

It does give you a couple of extra points if you do it in a smart place. I've gotten them once or twice.

I haven't tested it, but I'm fairly sure the throw downs last longer than the kit does. I've got some points ages after I last used the kit.

It's not going to break the bank either way though.

Yes the thrown downs DO last longer than the kitbag.

Thats why you can still get mine kills after, some 15 seconds from respawning in from your old kit/life.

Heaven forbid if you are working in a squad, and do this, you will more than likely get poipnts from throwing ammo to your depleted members (obviously you don't have a support troop already because you need to pick up the kit). I do this often when I need a bandages or ammo, and if friendlies are in the area expect some freebies.
Also, works best on IO. Damn it I hate IO.

Yes you do. The best thing to do if you are in a squad is pick up a dead enemies support/medic kit and throw down bags for your squad and yourself

I love killing a support and medic pair with my squad and refilling everyone with both before continuing with the mission. While we capture the flag we take turns using the kits of the enemy/friendly dead.

EDIT: We take turns because most of us rarely heal or resupply ourselves while in the squad. Sure, it's nice to replenish, but it's nicer to share the wealth by letting someone else heal/supply you instead of holding the bag or dropping it for yourself.

YES YOU DO. I love being a sniper in doors with a support bag nearby....can you say a claymore heaven. LOL
