Sniping and Marksman in PR

Man, PR sure adds some key benefits to being a sniper!! I was on a crane last night (forget the level), and even though I only had the M14, it was almost criminal the number of guys I was picking off coming in to cap our flag. The accuracy is deadly, and the fact that a lot of the time a chosen victim does not know who or what is shooting at them when they are killed. It can even be difficult to narrow down where the fire is coming from, especially if the sniper is being choosy about when to take the shot. Good thing a number of kits have binoculars.

I can certainly see why it’s good to limit the number of MM and sniper kits available to each team. But it can be a lot of fun if you do get your hands on one, and can get into a good position.

The Designated Marksman should stick with his squad and provide accurate long to medium ranged fire.

The Sniper should work alone, or preferably, in a squad of two (with a spotter, somebody to resupply the sniper with ammo, or another sniper).

I like using the M95 on Basrah :).

Lucky, I never get the gun or when i do I get killed instantley after getting it

The M95 is almost always available on Basrah, although getting the regular Sniper and Marksman kits can be difficult.

I can't play PR without good comunication (a headset) that is why I suck, because in BF2 I'm a solo flag capper always owning!

In PR I'm a clueless guy getting ow3d.

Hehe the sniper and marksman kits are ALWAYS the first to reach their quota at the start of the round. Then you see a wave of people still requesting them an getting the "Sorry I already issued all (2) of the Marksman kits. How about a whiskey?"

The text never fails. Good thing I'm a support whore, because I'd be pretty pissed otherwise lol.

The funny thing though, is that if someone doesn't get his sniper/marksman kit he'll go and request EVERY other kit for the hell of it. They always start with sniper/marksman then move onto support, then whatever's left. You can always spot the limited kit whores because they'll even the request the kits that give them no tactical value on the map (i.e. a USA guy will request the anti-air kit while fighting insurgents).

I know there's a place where there are SVD and PKM.... but m95 ?

Yeah, but it's a secret.

Start up a LAN server, join the US side, and search around the immedaite area where all the vehicles spawn. It's not past that area (on the air strip).

i found it =) quick question about the m95 how come it wont fire right away when you first get it? i clicking but no fire i have to wait like 6 secs for it to fire is that added or a bug?

only fires when you are prone :p

First try with the MEC SVD last night between the sand bags on airport between the run, it was like a turkey shoot :)

lol i got so many kills yesterday with it. insurgents capping the North VCP they are looking around seeing if someone is there... boom headshot the guy next to him freaks out and then everyone freaks out LAWLZ

i dont even have to land a heashot this things a beast :p

to bad this thing doesnt have enough force to make them do a back flip

quick question how many hits do i have to land to kill the .50 cal pickup truck?


another question are u guys gonna add a selection for diff. types of bullets to choose from? only for the M95 like armour piercing bullet and that exploding bullet?
