need patient friendly ear

hi pips...sorry to burden you all with my woes...but need help...how to chat while in game..i think im doing some thing wrong..cant hear or talk.and any other help would be appriciated

What headset are you using?? Are you putting sound and voice through sound card or directly from headset??? What are you BF2 Sound Option Settings??

make sure u have VOIP enabled in options under audio

to talk by typing, u press
J - to talk to everyone including the other team
K- to talk to everyone on ur team
L- to talk to ppl in ur squad

and for voice communications

press B to talk to ppl in ur squad
and if u are squad leader press V to talk to the commander

Do you know if your mic is functioning inside windows also? I could have it disabled in your windows volume control and that is effecting your windows.

shouldnt need any software, as long as your mic works in windows and its been set up for BF2 then it should working fine, just make sure to be holding "B" when your talking to your squad as otherwise nothing will happen
