Hi there! I have the Logitech z5300e speakers and a Creative x-fi sound card. I play Counter Strike Source and Battlefield 2. The sound is amazing on both, but it sounds a little odd in BF2.
It's hard to explain, but it's like i can't hear anything that I'm looking straight at in the game. I have to looking to the left or right of something to hear it. When i'm driving a boat and looking forward, I can't hear the engine at all, but when i turn around and look at it, I hear it perfectly. This goes with all vehicles. I have to look to the side to hear them.
In the jets when I have an outside view, I can only hear the jet when i turn to the left or right. When I am going in a straight line I can't hear it at all.
This may not sound like too big of an issue but it drives me crazy. I hear a enemy tank or something coming close but I have to look all around to find it. And before I know it the tank is right beside me and launches me 200 ft into the air.
Anyone know what the problem is here? I have all the newest drivers installed and i have my speakers set to 5.1 sound and they are in "GAME MODE." Thanks!
