    "Check Six"

Uh-huh. Keep checking your six guys. It can save your life.

It was a good round on Wake Island. I was flying (as usual) the Blackhawk. It was tedious and un-rewarding work flying around dropping off soldiers to flags. But hey, it helped our team. So, a J-10 shot down the Blackhawk (AS USUAL!!!) and I spawned back on the carrier to do the same thing again. After being shot down numerous times, I tried to find out what I was doing wrong. Speed = life. 'Nuff said. Anyway, I took off from the carrier with only one passenger. I started flying towards the mainland, heading for North Village. I finally arrived at the strip of land below North Village...but my gunner seemed to be AWOL. I spied a troop running off to defend North Village...not so. At that, I swooped down on him, flying 2ft off the ground. He didn't check six. And so, my Blackhawk was the bowling ball...and the infantry was the bowling pin.

You can do it with a BH against an attack chopper. Hit it in its weak spot (side) in such a way that you immediately move away. I can usually reproduce this with very little damage. Of course, it's unlikely that any good chopper pilot would have come so close anyway.

"Checking your six" is an aviator term long forgotten from 1942 and Desert Combat

checking your six was a millitary term for a long time its in relation to the analog clock there fore 9 would be to your left. it was not just mad up in 1942 if thats what your saying

That's why you hear things like "Bogey incoming 10 o'clock"... Basically Someone to your right, but slightly infront of you

I've never helo-rammed anyone except I tried a flip-chop (Tip chopper over and aim with the propulsion of the rotor blades) on an APC and I covered the Blackhawk in C4 beforehand because this was my Intention, 2-3 kills from the APC and I got a jeep that was driving past... I was soo lucky lol

Also I've decided to air ram the havoc when i'm in an F35 and annoyed that I keep on seeing "Random guy [Mi-28] Poor spawn raped guy"

I've C4ed planes with the Intention of kamikaze too.. It works!

You people really should try APC jihading, It's fun, also Tank-jihading but I need to perfect it first =]

The term "Check Six" In fighter pilot parlance, to check ones tail for enemy aircraft-the aircrafts 6 'o clock. And yes I have to agree with him when Im flying around Im always watching my 6 for those damned J-10s and Mig-29s

man i love wake island,i find if your having troubles completing missions off the carrier in the blackhawk, you need to fly higher,as high as you can before
you make your approach onto the island, the j-10s never fly that high due to bombing runs and the stingers cant lock onto you either,

lol sheridan... I was irritated as well.
                    Nice idea though KC-10...

my friend used to tell me stories about flying the Blackhawk in the demo..

He said he'd come in low, and do a sort-of-skid which would allow him to be an even bigger bowling ball
