go to mashtuur and get a black hawk with 1 sniper 2 antitank 1-2 engy and 1-2 support and a medic and you will own the map. the sniper should jump out over the mosque or hotel outposts and go for the roof though and not stay in the chopper unless you plan on hovering completely still 30 ft off the ground. on mashtuur you have no AA to worry about other than over the 2 gas stations (but ive never seen anyone in them except commander who is harldy paying attention anyway) and no jets. i also like the black hawk better than the attack choppers. if it had AT missles like the ones in Desert Combat did itd be the best chopper in the game imo

I have a quick story for most of you, it is about the ULTIMATE WEAPON aka the Blackhawk transport.

This weapon is most deadly when used by a squad, as it can SAFELY (always) transport a full squad with deadly firepower.
The weapons are:

-Stealth
-Maneuverability
-Armor
-Size

Stealth, fly up high to avoid sight.
Armor, take great amounts of damage.
Size, big enough for transport, small enough for precise insertion.

However, the most powerful weapon the Blackhawk has to offer is it's maneuverability and flexibility.

A few tactics which can be used with the Blackhawk.
Quietly fly it to an enemy airbase, and make a low pass over the runway. You can drop AT mines out of the side doors right on the runway safely.

Drop AP mines from high above

Hover over a tank and drop C4 or AT mines.

And the best is the ability to dodge incoming fire.
For example:
Treat the Blackhawk like an attack helicopter. You'll be surprised at how many flips/rolls you can perform.
The other day in an online RANKED server, me and my squad were in a Blackhawk up against a very skilled z10 pilot and gunner. We were able to make it to the enemy base safely because we out flew the z10. The TV missile was useless against a flipping blackhawk, and the whole time me and my squad were laughing uncontrollably over VOIP.

Try it, it works!

if the skilled gunner cant even hit a barrel rolling black hawk, then he is reallyyy reallly not a skilled gunner

I once tried using 2-3 AT guys in a BH as a mobile rocket shooting machine, but didn't seem to work out that great. Maybe we just needed more practice.

I've rarely seen Black Hawks do barrel rolls. I hardly ever see attack choppers doing that on pubs. The Black Hawk is fat and slow but with luck you might go through. Thx for your tactics suggestion Stalker2200. I think the Black Hawk is already beeing used the way u suggested, it works alot of times and is only really annoying on Wake, Oman when the US lost all CP's and Dallian Plant.

PS: I'd really love to see an unpredictible roll with the BH. That would be cool. You could add to it by taking the attack chopper out with the mini guns... :)

i think the value in a rolling black hawk comes from the fact that noone expects you to do it. if your good and can do it close enough to the ground attack choppers and planes probably wont bother wasting ammo on you figuring your gonna die anyway.

yea, ronnie... it's not all the fact that the roll dodges the missile, it's just that it isn't expected so it makes it more difficult to hit.

^^ to your mini gun move...

1 time i was pubbing with the Blackhawk spins...
and me and the enemy attack helo guy were laughing because I said .... I'll do a roll, seat switch, pull out my m95, and shoot him out of cockpit XD

Funny but not true.
