There is NO way that you can miss a blackhawk with TV missles without being a noob. Not only is it big, but in a roll, it is easy to predict its circular path. Just aim where it will be during the roll (sort of like leading a target) and you have a blackhawk down. If the pilots couldnt hit you, AND you outmaneuvered them, they obviousely werent that good. Ill even call you out on it and ask for a video. More than likely you will produce some video of you dodging missles, then everyone will point out that the gunner was a noob.

The blackhawk sucks. It's easy to hit with AT rockets, tank shells, tv missiles and even laser guided bombs. They are easily destructable... all you need is a FAV. Even if you fly ridiculously high you still have to worry about jet whores. You have no defense mechenisms, if an aa locks you, theres not much you can do because that thing is SLOW. Sure you can pop flares but buy the time you get out of range of the aa youll probably be on fire.

300 + meters, undetectable by AA.

Planes? Well, what plane other than an F-35 should have to cruise about 350? None. 90% chance of not being spotted by a plane if you fly high enough.

I laugh at my clan mate when he misses ANYTHING. Including Black Hawks and transport cars.

OMG, forget the attack helos taking you out, any half decent jet pilot will make you a priority target if he gets more than two kills every time he kill the black hawk. In all honesty dude, abandon this idea, unless all their air power is grounded, even then your are a easy mark for ground aa and ground fire from cars.

They were NOT noobs, I've played my share of rounds and put in my hours to know.

I'm not doing this to say I have mad blackhawk skills, but I bet I could dodge on average 2-3 TV missiles from ANY pilot before being taken down, like it or not, the blackhawk is capable of quite a bit.

Dalian? Ceiling is 850.
There is no reason to cruise at 900...if you have decent air combat skills(or in a J-10). I cruise at 750 in the F35 and around 250-300 in every other jet.

damn miniguns are useless.
get a engy or two in there a little dash of Anti tank and your set, with some skill certain ppl can pull of the impossible, BTW this is BF2 anything seems to happen all the time...

I have a quick story for most of you, it is about the ULTIMATE WEAPON aka the Blackhawk transport.

This weapon is most deadly when used by a squad, as it can SAFELY (always) transport a full squad with deadly firepower.
The weapons are:

-Stealth
-Maneuverability
-Armor
-Size

Stealth, fly up high to avoid sight.
Armor, take great amounts of damage.
Size, big enough for transport, small enough for precise insertion.

However, the most powerful weapon the Blackhawk has to offer is it's maneuverability and flexibility.

A few tactics which can be used with the Blackhawk.
Quietly fly it to an enemy airbase, and make a low pass over the runway. You can drop AT mines out of the side doors right on the runway safely.

Drop AP mines from high above

Hover over a tank and drop C4 or AT mines.

And the best is the ability to dodge incoming fire.
For example:
Treat the Blackhawk like an attack helicopter. You'll be surprised at how many flips/rolls you can perform.
The other day in an online RANKED server, me and my squad were in a Blackhawk up against a very skilled z10 pilot and gunner. We were able to make it to the enemy base safely because we out flew the z10. The TV missile was useless against a flipping blackhawk, and the whole time me and my squad were laughing uncontrollably over VOIP.

Try it, it works!

Very good point, I also think that the Blackhawk is the ultimate weapon, nice.

IMO the little bird (and variants) is just as good. Smaller, harder to hit (even harder to TV), it's basically a mobile repair/rearm/heal station if you got the right people on board. The only problem is AA...but that's what being a 400m altitude mine dispenser is good for. Muahahaha! :evil:
