Gold, Silver, Bronze stars

So when it mentions 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place for these stars respectively do they mean on your side or overall for the place? I ask because I came in 2nd on the MEC side in a round yet no Silver Star so the only thing I can think of is the placing is overall....

Yeah, it's overall. Just so you know those medals are the most frequent appearing medals since they get handed out each round... Just so you wont see a guy (like me) with hundreds of those medals and think they hack :laugh:

Now that is generalizing to the maximum... But yeah, you have a good opportunity to own if you are in a vehicle. But at the same time you are a prey for others (if you aren't in a jet, of course).

Back in the days I used to remember how I got each of my Gold Stars, because I seldom got those.

Now... It's just different :p

Theyre pretty easy to get, Just get in a Tank or Heli

Infantry (especially Medic and Support) can get huge scores too.

I've only got 1 gold star I expect that number to start increasing though, as I've been starting to use vehicles a bit lately, as opposed to getting run over by them all the time...

Well for the moment I play I/O maps but I may start to branch out to vehicle maps also...

you know whats a great way to get gold? go to 64p karkand and if you are on US, take the m11-87 or dao and sprint into their little fenced in stronghold. soooooo many kills. plus, there are so many people spamming ammo and med bags in there that its pretty easy.

All my medals are in the 275-300 range.

I always get beat by the commander or the medics on infantry/infantry heavy maps.
On basic maps that have planes or Helis, they usual capture the top spots.

Then there are people like me, who manage to steal the #1 spot every second or third round regardless of whos playing, or what happens.

If you want to get a medal easy then you can become commander and if you win i say you have a 50% chance of getting a medal.
