How do they do it?

Hey guys

I had a look on the 'Rising Star' board and notice that some players have a weekly score of several 10000s of points. This must be cheating?
I am dying, dying and dying again, but honestly and slowly rising in points.
Do I do somethingn wrong, or do the other players cheat?
Look at the rising star league at http://www.bf2stats.nl/ and just have a look at the top 10. Number 1 has a multi-million points week and is 2nd Lieutenant after not even 6 hours of gameplay. And I am not even a Sergeant after about 48 hours?

I think you'll find the top one is a hack

The first seems to be cheating, all the other ones are almost definitely people's second/third/nth accounts.

Well I can imagine that people with a second, third or more accounts will be much quicker in gaining points and advance in ranks, but these amounts of points are really ridiculous. Playing in a well-oiled squad or Karkand pistol only are the best ways to gain points, or do I think wrong?
Maybe I am playing it totally wrong :P

Playing as a medic with a squad is a good way to rack up points quickly. Lately when I play medic I've been finding myself defending a base with my squad, surrounded by enemies. Nades coming in from everywhere, people dying, me getting revive and heal points all over the place The 2nd medic unlock is pretty beastly too so you get your fair share of kills too I find I get most points that way.

Sniping on an IO server will also rack up points pretty quick.

Then again I have like 4k global points and I've been playing since april 2006, so I'm not really the best person to ask about getting points fast :-p

That weekly score isn't their real score. I think it's just their Score Per Minute scaled up to show what they would get if they played 25/7 for a week.

It seems to me to be one of those made up for hacking type names, if you know what I mean.
Keep playing the way you are mate, points aren't everything, fun however, is!!
