how to dive / role and shoot

hey all ive been playing bf2 for a while now and ive noticed alot of players diving into some kind of commando role and shooting ... i was wondering how you do this as i would realy like to learn .. can someone let me know how this is done

It's just an animation mate. People will see you do it, but all your doing is proning.

It's other people going prone and strafing. I does not roll in first person, but does in third person. Meaning you can see other people do it, but can't see yourself do it.
