Asus Crosshair SLi nForce 590 PCI-E (Socket AM2) DDR2 Motherboard XFX nVidia GeForce 8800GTS XXX Edition '550MHz' 640MB DDR3 Dual DVI/TV Out (PCI-E) - Retail
All windows updates installed, battlefield 2 with 1.41 patch.
Now this setup surely should run bf2 on high, but not BSOD, on medium it runs fine, but in the last 24 hours, machine has froze once whilst it idle, noone was in the house using it, and bsod 3 times, the last time the reference nv4_disp.dll was mentioned.
I have tried the drivers from the xfx website aswell as the ones windows update finds and also the latest from the nvidia site, all do the same, can't play bf2 on high, but can on medium and sometimes it will bsod, sometimes it won't.
Any help appreciated.
