    New monitor

POSTING HERE BECAUSE IT WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED IN TECH CENTER:cry:

    I'm considoring buying this...

I will be using it as a second monitor with my old 17" tft. Im not very good with monitors and was just wandering whether or not this was a good purchase. (seems VERY good value for money)

    I will buy it here
and i got the reveiws for it here

If I am correct, it will stand abouy the same height as my 17" on screen (?).

Will all of this work? I really dont have a clue :], that why I came here.

    Thanks:p

      Re: New monitor

Relevant specs can be had from the amazonians:

      High contrast ratio of 800:1
      Ultra brightness of 300 cd/m2
      Advanced CrystalBrite technology
      High powered resolution of 1680X1050
      Ultra-wide viewing angles of 160°
      Accelerated 8ms response rate
      20 Widescreen PC monitor

By the numbers, it should be a nice monitor. The response time is just a little high, but 8ms is acceptable for gaming/movies.

It will surely work, no doubt about that. What you need to find out is if you want to spend alot of money OR have a small monitor size.
