Lag problems...

Recently I've been getting some severe lag issues, rendering the game virtually unplayable. Jerking about/delayed responses a plenty, 'there is a problem with your connection' flickering on randomly, usual stuff.

I recently installed a wireless router for my other computer, which while I'm in game definitely isn't being used.

Any ideas?

So do you connect via ethernet cable or wireless?

What are your computer specs & what is your ISP & speed?

Do you have low internet performance overall? This could mean u have problems with the line, and contacting your ISp should resolve this.

Ethernet connected to the router connected to the cable modem.

Specs: P(R)4 2.79, 1gig RAM, Radeon X600
ISP: Blueyonder
100Mbps connection

My internet performance is generally quite good, with downloads usually reaching 250+ Kbs.

Anyone?
