www.secretsofbattlefield.com Oh and I also find playing singelplayer on hard for a while helps you get a feel for the game although it still isn't as hard as multiplayer

Like chef said, single player always helps, you could try downloading the unlocks mod to get a feel of the unlocks to decide which you want first, Also i reccomend getting special forces expansion pack, the unlocks from that are good (shame i cant get them.... modified content bug ftw?)
Also when you feel like moving onto flying, get onto LAN and create your own little empty server to get used to flying all aircraft types (Fighters, Bombers, Transports, Gunships) so you know the feel of each one so you can control them well... also a joystick helps (Logitech 3d extreme pro = cheap, good and sexy
)
Basically you can only learn online gaming, online..
1 little tip... if you join an Infantry only karkand or jalalabad map, get ready to spam grenades as support, or medic and revive people
A good medic is by far the best class in the game to play,
Also... don't hack... best advice i've given this week! *Feels proud*Comment

Re: any newb guide?
well like i said in there i am coming from warrock, i kinda know what i'm doing just the gameplay is more team based( can't just run in and blast everyone) hmm flying seems to be a little hard, the chopper does not turn fast for me, and the jet well only problem i have with that is i run out of map lol can't turn fast enough with them, as for hacking trust me i don't want to mess with punkbuster lolOriginally posted by SkaarlawLike chef said, single player always helps, you could try downloading the unlocks mod to get a feel of the unlocks to decide which you want first, Also i reccomend getting special forces expansion pack, the unlocks from that are good (shame i cant get them.... modified content bug ftw?)

Re: any newb guide?
A tip from the wise - if you are new to the game, stay away from flying. It can be very frustrating because about 50% of the players will see your low rank and teamkill you. If you want to get training - join bf2 combat - they have training programs.Comment
