Heh, I gave up on vanilla a long time ago. Plenty of armour action on SF although thats starting to show a worrying trend of IO servers. I wonder if any servers that run AF maps have them set at IO?

The thing I don't understand, is that they put in an IO filter, but why didn't they put in a filter to filter OUT the IO servers. EA and their stupidness. Karkand is a decent map if you have smart players and vehicles.

my god how easy it is to get a server of choice. My solution:

people dont realise it but theres a MAP NAME and SERVER NAME Filter, try this:

Server Name: vehicle / vehicles
Map Name: Karkand

and you should get a list of desired karkand vehicle maps.

Server Name: vehicle / vehicles
Map Name: Karkand

and you should get a list of desired karkand vehicle maps.

that only filters severs with vehicles in the name and most i/o servers have "no vehicles" in the name,

The filters suck too much though... just punch in Karkand for the map (I don't know why you'd do that)... And hit refresh list/stop update a bunch of times...

I know you'll get a ton of IO, but then organize it by ping, and if you don't see any with good ping that don't say IO then I guess you're SOL.

There's always non-IO servers with Karkand in the rotation. I could name a couple, but I don't need to advertise for them. Then again, ping depends on location.
