I want more players so there can be some larger conflicts that have more of a war feeling. With 64 players and less I just feel like I'm in some sort of arena.

Because 6 people in 1 squad coordinate attacks now? Lol.

If BF2 is getting a little old. I suggest going back to BFV or 1942 if you have them. (they can be bought on eBay for less then 8 bucks) I play BFV and 1942 more then BF2 these days. BFV is such a blast. There are a few servers with modded regular maps. Makes it even more fun.

Yeah, I know. What I mend was that you can already order it. Release date is 04.05.2007. At least that's said by one of our our local game distributor. Price is 47€ :)

I still love the BF2. To me it is a far superior than BF2142, which don't get me wrong, is fun too. I would love to EA continue to support this game with booster packets, etc. I just don't see it happening, though.

yeah bfv is a real blast, especially the choppers. theyre awesome. theres just something about flying the gunship that doesnt compare to flying helis in bf2. andjust a thought, to those of u who imagine a whole division planning an attack, it aint gonna happen if theres a a rank system, people will not give a s""t about teamwork and will do watever they want to get ther points and rank

i remeber one night getting drunk as hell and deciding to try to swim across one of the maps in Jo. I had already been swimming for 20 minutes and wasnt even half way there. The maps were too big IMO.

I hope EA drops the BF series, in fact I hope EA dies slowly and painfully... Every game they touch that has a GREAT potential and awesome ideas they tend to **** it big time. BF series is no different, great potential but unfinished. EA should stick just to their sport games franchises, eventhough they can't make those right either..

I don't want EA to drop the BF series. For some of us thats our bread and butter . The BF series is what I mainly started gaming online with, and it had me hooked. I played CS and CSS for a long time as well but thats a totally different game with those of COD, Q4, and UT. What makes the battlefield series special is that there isn't really any other war game that can stand up to it. EA knows they have a money maker, and I think they know 2142 wasn't as big of a hit as the previous BF series were. Idk I just need something fresh, and pref a BF game. I don't think the BF series will die out, EA just needs a little kick in the butt to let them know that the crap they are releasing ain't cutting it no more. I think they know that, so well see what they can come up with for this fall or next year.

My multiplayer adventures started with BF1942, well it started with Black Hawk Down but that was experimenting, but as good as BF2 is it's more frustration than it is fun. I said EA should drop BF series, if somebody else took over DICE then maybe there is a hope for BF, but not if it's under EA's umbrella.
