    Cases?

I am looking to build a new pc but don't no wat case to buy. I want one with plenty of room that will keep cool. Here are the specs of the pc i want to get:
    Intel core 2 duo E6600
    2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800)
    640MB BFG Technology 8800GTS
ASUS P5N-E SLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i
    SeaSonic S12 Energy Plus ATX12V / EPS12V 650W Power Supply

Here are two cases which I might get but I dont no much about which cases are better:
    Antec Nine Hundred/Ultimate Gamer Case
    OR
    Akasa Eclipse-62 Midi Tower Case

Will these cases have enough room to fit two 8800gts and because the psu is fitted at the bottom of the antec nine hundred. Will the cables be able to stretch to the cpu?

Thanks and any other recommendations are welcome.

    Re: Cases?

Buy the Antec 900, it's a much better build quality then akasa. Everything will fit fine, don't worry.

      Re: Cases?

I don't have that case in particular, but I did recently upgrade from an antec sonata to an antec p180. I thought both were very, very solid cases, and antec pays a lot more attention to detail than most other case mfg's. Lian-Li's are sweet, too, if you're a crackzillionaire.

Between the two, I'd definitely get the 900. There are a couple of folks on the boards with 900's; maybe they'll stop by your thread for some hands-on advice.

edit: I just wish they'd market a little more toward people above the age of three:

Personaly i love the Lian Li cases the are a little plan looking but they are slick and have good air flow. Antec are also really good this is the next case i'm going to get http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chass...6X_S_PC-60.htm. This one looks good and is easy to build a computer in.

one word of note: Ive read the 8800 series cards are a tight fit in the 900 and some people have mentioned having to take out the 120mm fan in the middle of the case thats is bolted to the hard drive cage.
you might want to check on that.

Thanks for the help guys. Has anyone tried fitting a 8800 into these cases and if so does it fit alright? Any other recommendations?

you would have to take out one of the harddrive racks to fit the 8800's in a i think,
it was a tight enough fit trying to fit my x1950, but the cooling inside is pretty sweet, 2 front fans, 1 rear and one on top.

A 8800 will fit in a Antec Nine Hundred, but as a bloke said above, you will have to take out the fan behind the HD cage. However, it is the most useless fan ever as there are two 120mm fans just in frontof it which do a very good job keeping airflow going and if thats not enough, you can add a fan on the side window which blows directly onto the graphics cards.
The Ninehundred is small, so if you want space then go for a P180
