Is it possible to disable respawning?

I can't honestly say, and I don't know how to apply this to humans, but I THINK I saw something about spawning in the bots files that would be something to this effect possibly, although, I may, and given my inexpirience be wrong, it said something like AutoSpawn, or something like that, don't have BF on this machine or I would go check.

Unless you created a new game mode or vastly expanded the time you lie there on your back the games would take so long to complete that it would bore most people to no end; esp. given the large number of one-hit death methods. (Grenades, Headshots, Vehicles etc)

you could simply give a very high respawn time

yeah, just make a new gamemode, copy the conquest files and such and rename it and such.
