Do you get rank points from Badges/Awards/Ribbons

Do you? just wondering if i got a bunch of badges if it would help me rank up faster or not. Trying to rank up as fast as possible. I plan on playing like 2-4 hrs a day on week days and like 10+ at least on the weekend.

Now you're thinking about BF2142, right? In BF2 you wont get anything to help you with badges etc. But they are still fun to get :laugh:.
