Punkbuster: Inadequate O/S privileges

I get this whenever I try and join a game of BF2, any ideas what is happening?

I'm running Vista Home Premium could this be affecting it?

yes this happened to me a very easy fix well it worked for me

ok what u do is press 'click to find VX2.betterInternet' if nothing is found then press 'Restore policy' and restart your computer thats how i fixed it hope it helps.

take it easy, what you need to do is just to play the game as an administrator. don't need any 3rd party programs.

Well if that fails then do the way I said to do it because thats how i fixed mine.

Right click on the BF2 icon and go to the Compatability tab and click in the box that says "Run program as admininstrator." Job Done....

I'm getting the same error, I'm Vista home premium too, I'm concerned about installing the recommend programs because they're most likely to be designed for WindowsXP, is it still worth doing it anyway?

Ok, so if your running Windows Vista, and you've done the whole "run as admin" thing......adn it still doesnt work; what do you do????
