Getting explosives badge(s)

This one is hard for me, any tips? I heard that artillery counts, but it doesnt seem to. I also heard destroying enemy stuff adds to it too, but I blew up 21 things last map and didnt get the badge

Claymore spam. Take out claymores first thing when you are a sniper whenenver you see an enemy at relatively close range throw it, you'd be surprised how ridiculesly overpowered they are. Only use your sniper rifle when you run out of clays. Once you pick up more ammo, rinse and repeat.

That's how I got my expert badge. Oh, and try to get something like a Warlord 32 player server that's only half full.

I just got my expert by playing Iron Gator. I did the claymore spam, but not really like i was going out to spam. I started to play with the SVD a lot in close-quarters. So, when I spawned it, I would run and then randomly drop claymores places. Because people spam ammo packs, I always had extra claymores ready to drop. When one went off some place I laid it (a couple minutes earlier), I would drop just one, and progress like that.

People used to say that is the lame way, considering back in the day, you could C4 toss and still jihad jeep. But hey! I hate to say it, but that is the name of the game.

I think I hate claymores just as bad as most, because I am often a flag taker by heart, so claymores really screw up a long run. But get it out of your system and move on. It is a means to an end.

I never thought I would get the vet, much less the expert. But one round on Sharqui, after taking the TV station, we defended it. My friend was support and I was a sniper. I had one on the bottom of the stairs and one on top of the ladder. Lucky for us our team didn't get other flags, so the US team kept on coming in and Boom!

Next round when we were on the US side, my friend and I switched roles. It was a slow start, but things picked up. He got the vet/expert explosives and the vet sniper combat badge. He had about 43 kills, most coming from claymores.

Explosives=claymore, AT mine, or C4.

Artillery does not count for anything.

Explosives badge is based on kills. Blowing up the UAV or Scan or Arty is not a kill... thus it does not count.

If you have the Special Forces Expansion, go play in a Warlord Server. The Palace or TV Station are great places to setup C4 traps. I'll be in the Addicted to Games Warlord Server(NON Infantry only) around 12PM EST, if you want, I can show you where and how I got mine.

I tried to claymore spam all last night, and all I did was lower my K ratio and get my first purple heart, f00k.

Karkand I place c4 near the flag and if your luck is in a team of them will run and try and take the flag. Also, you can try the same on any map flags just place a few don't waste all of your c4 that is what I did

C4 in chokepoints. Simple. I got mine back in the old days when it was REALLY hard. Now its easy

I got my badge from ATs. I was completely surprised. I was just playing engineer at the Dam because it is mostly a vehicle based map, for me anyway, and working hard to get kills against the other team using all my toys. I also had a good run with grenades which is unusual for me.

I was surprised when I got it, I was not even trying. I guess I would have to say just play the game.

Engineer is also a safe way to go. High kills with full loads. Also keep an eye on other kits too. ie lay mines, pick up sniper kit, lay clays, switch back. If its a busy area your clays should stay there long enough for someone to trigger.

I would just go on a Krakand IO and spam claymores.

EDIT: Or if you load fast as USMC, run to the Hotel and lay down C4 and blow them up when they spawn.

generally play like a tard and get the badge, dont make a habit of it tho.......i ambushed tanks for mine anyway (C4 and AT mines), quite easy on karkand 64

Another easy way of doing it is, a 64 server with low players, (and the usual high 300 ticket count) this gives you enough time to rack up the kills (round should last for at least 40 mins, providing theres only 14 odd players)

The downside is that people with get in know what your doing. Just hope their noobs
