M16 Auto

i think i've seen this somewhere before, but i was playing wake and i picked up a full auto m16. it was a weirdest glitch i have every experienced. When i killed someone it says it was an l85a1, but unluckily i couldnt kick as much *** as i would have liked because of the weird reloading glitch that came with it. i would fire a full clip, kill a guy, then from there i could not fire more than 5 bullets without it having to reload. It would have made a pretty sweet gun, because semi-auto is pointless in my opinion. i was just wondering if anyone else have had this? i have almost 600 hours with this game and had it happen to me only once.

Yes it happens alot, I haven't had it but alot of people have, sometimes its because you are firing something auto then press G at the same time...and you have your auto M16A2...it doesn't always work since its a bug.

AND DON?T TRY IT SINCE IT WOULD BE A CHEAT!

I wouldn't say it's a cheat, but definitely an exploit. I encountered this last night on jalalabad when I picked up a random USMC medic kit to heal myself and laid down some cover fire. I realized it was full auto and used it to it's fullest extent. First off, a full magazine will disappear in about 2 seconds firing in full auto. Second, it takes about 3 times as long to reload. However, it's a friggin killing machine. The guy I took it from was a 2 star general (won't mention a name, but I do remember and play with him frequently), and he mowed me down later on with it over and over again. I laughed and gave him a ;) and he lol'd. On wake I remember watching some guy messing with a chinese kit, so I picked it up and lo and behold, 3rb ak47.


Honestly, I'd use it on occasion if I knew how, but I prefer a few 3 round bursts to the chest.

No it's no cheat. It is not actually full auto, only on client side. Things like this happen all the time even if you don't even notice them. So you thought it was full auto, and it does look like, but actually it only fires every time you press the fire button. Strange huh? It happens.

You can easily fool your client, but fooling server is more difficult, usually server just fools you.

Ive had that happen only the AK had a 3 burst fire instead of auto

You're firing a L85A1, but the skin and sounds are for an M16. It's just another glitch. Don't get excited.

im pretty sure it wasn't like the l85. I know this because i remember emptying my clip really quick and it fired extremely fast, like the m249. at first i thought it was a 2 bullet burst, which in my opinion would be much more effective than 3 round bursts (even though its not realistic), but then i realized it was only firing when i held my finger on it.

im not going to go hunt down some auto m16's, but i know for sure that if i pick another one up, i aint putting it down.

The US army doesn't use full auto M16's anymore, only burst and single fire. Atleast thats what my friend told me.

its even worse when it happens to a sniper. i was playing medic with the
ak-101, picked up a sniper kit that was fully automatic!!!!! it was a complete long range owning machine

Ok get this, there aree alot of M16s!

M16: The first M16 ever...it was auto and semi..it jammed alot!

M16A1: The second, It was also auto and semi..but it had that thing on the right side I forgot the name, but it helped it not jam!

M16A2: Greatly but reliability over the others; Burst and semi auto!

M16A3...is the US Navy version of the A2 exept it has auto and semi-auto!

M16A4..nothing deiiferent from A2 exept a removable carry hadle which has a rail under it.

howd u control the recoil? u can even see that semi auto for a sniper rifle isnt good for continuous fire as it is hard to control the recoil
