My account doesnt update as i win awards.

PLease Help!! I have been playing bf2 for a while now. But my account doesnt update, it says i am a private and have only scored 71 points with 2 awards/medals/badges. But when i play i win badges and earn points, but they dont show in my bfhq tab in the main menu. Do you have to save your progress or something? please help.

it usually takes a while for bfhq to update. wats ur bf2 name?

Also if you leave the server early with out ending round...you won't get it you have to finish up...the round!

No you don't, only the server has to finish the round. You can be kicked or banned and still receive your points.

The only exception might be if you are on the server only for a few minutes.

Oh, I thought you do cause I did that once I was promote to gunnery sergeant then I got out the game early to get my guns and I didn't see it! So I had to go back in then I got it again and I had to wait for round end. That's just...werid.

There are times when you can win an award and get a promo and you still won't get it. Also, you can join a game, win an award and leave and then get it when the round finally ends and the stats get reported.

It all depends on if the stat servers pick up the scoring results completely from the game server at end of game.

It's EA.... It's a crap shoot.

sometimes the servers just dont lodge the points and awards, i remember getting my basic special ops in SF about 6 times back when i first started playin

Well, you just described what I said...the round had to end before you got anything...as long as it DID end, without crashing hopefully.

If the server you're playing on ever crashes, better hope it happens at the beginning, because you lose everything that happened in that round.

Remember though, being kicked or banned doesn't count, only the server crashing = losing the points forever.

Thanks guys, really helpful, i can now and have now started to win awards/medals and earn points and save my progress
