It says I died...but I didn't

I'm sitting there...and it says I died...but I wasn't anywhere close to dieing and I didn't die on up to the map change. Really wierd.

Has this ever happened to you?

It's a bug... check the sticky about this. Other bugs include being killed by an ak47 instead of an rpk, etc.

Yeah this happened whilst I was flying; it said I'd been killed by about 4 people...it diddn't show up on my score though.

the other day whenever i died it would show up twice and ide get 2 deaths intead of one - dont know if this is related

sometimes i die and it doesnt say anything on the top left corner. i just explode out of no where and it writes NOTHING

Sometimes it shows that I killed someone although I hadn't fired a shot or carelessly left a claymore somewhere.

The weird one is when I kill someone;

He says "It was my claymore"

I'm like "Whoops sorry, it just looked weird on my end"

yup, not often, but once in awhile it happens to me and I'm always like "WTF?"
