I like playing with British SL's. It's rare, as I'm in the States, but whenever it does happen and I'm commander, they're the only ones who ever communicate with me (over VOIP) about strategy--and that makes the game really fun, both for me and their squad!

I'd say some of the best jet and helo pilots come form America, with a few skilled ones from Europe. Not sure why, but the best infantry players I play against seem to be from England, and the best tankers are form Germany.

I'd have to agree with BloodSport there, although I don't usually play alongside our cousins over the pond because of the ping situation.
( I have a 10meg connection yet when I try to play on a US or Canadian server its like playing with a bunch of bl**dy breakdancers!)

Bandwidth doesn't give you better ping. Think of your connection like a tunnel and the amount of water that goes through is your internet packets.

Some providers give you very wide tunnels, like 10 meg connections, but the tunnel is very long ie crap latency. The best gaming providers in the UK are Zen, Eclipse, BT funnily enough and a few other that i can't remember atm.

I've recently moved from 1 meg to 4 meg and I get the same ping.

You have it all wrong. The British are best for being carpet bombed, the French give up flags without putting up a fight, Americans join in the fight at the very end and the Germans are the ones who started it.
