You make it sound like downloading something requires actual effort....

Seriously, I love it, and have been playing the $hit out of it recently. For the low-low price of nothing it is certainly worth the price...

Now, whether you enjoy the game-play or not is another story. You have to play it much more conservatively, and definitely squad play and teamwork is essential to survival. You will spend a lot more time creeping around slowly and carefully than you have to in vBF2. Personally I love it, and find playing PR is MUCH more immerse than vBF2.

Yea this mod really killed Battlefield 2. Lets just say that Project Reality is the Real World where people escape from the horrible game that EA made and Battlefield 2 is the Matrix. Once you escape from Battlefield 2 by playing PR, you will never want to go back.

Considering it takes like ~30 mins to download of course its worth it. If worst comes to worst you can just delete and you've lost nothing. If your after teamwork, realism and a breathe of fresh air.......what are you waiting for?

I tried downloading it but after 2.5 hours it got to 20 mins left and then just stopped. i was a bit furious, anyone got a clue as to why this happened?

nope.

Seriously, could be a million different things on the server side, or on your computer. The file is available from a number of different download sites, I got it from Fileplanet I believe. Took a couple hours, but it worked.

yes, theyve done SOOOO much more with the engine, but also done SOOOO much more with lag. THAT MOD IS LAG-TASTIC! dont get me wrong, its as fun as hell and i love it!!!! BUT ITS LAG TASTIC!!! *CRIES*

Server patch is in an open beta test now to work out the lag issues. I agree they are bad... hopefully we'll have it sorted shortly.
