    connection Issues.

Whenever I go into a server, I can play for about 10 minutes, then It freezes, and I get booted. Then on the main menu it says "Your connection to the server has been lost" Now this happens with ever server I go into..

I was having same problem until last night. I have dual core 3800 on ECS MVP mobo. I installed this update (optimizer) and played about 5 hrs steady as a rock!! Hooah!

I have notice alot of servers are lagging a good bit lately, I still ping good on them but they appear to be laggy real bad and everyone on the servers complain about it, and on many occasions I will just loose connection
the last week has been bad and it seems to get worse everyday

long shot..but try putting pbsetup.exe (the punkbuster updater thing) in ur pb folder in ur BF2 directory, and then run the pbsetup.exe there.

i think ive tried numerous ways to get rid of this problem, and im not sure whihc one of them worked..but i rarely get connection problems unless the server crashes

                      Re: connection Issues.

Punkbuster kicks me off with "Inadequate O/S Privileges" with Vista.

Set the bf2.exe to run as administrator as in the attached file.

I think this should remedy the issue. There probably are other ways around it also. Good luck.

No joy for me just started today dropping connections for no reason at all. I might try and install the game yet again. Is it to do with EA up dating the servers at EA HQ? I enclose the link it may be this

Althought I might be totally wrong. Getting p***ed off with BF2 when it had huge issues with the crash to desk tops and other things and now I have bad connections yet my ping is good. And EA including DICE wants us to support the game. It suc*ks
