Can't hear anyone on the mic :(

For some strange reason I cant hear anyone on the mic when im squadded.
My friend can, but I cant, its really annoying and I was wondering if anyone could tell me whats wrong?

Did, you go to audio setup and put it EAX and put mic max...?

Hmm, have you tried using SPEAKERS to hear?

Seriously, I had many hours of "fun" trying to get my mic to work ingame and it turned out to be one of my settings in XP.
Start the game etc, then minimise and check your mic settings in XP mate. BF2 was (for some reason) muting my mic.
All solved when I got me Medusa headset

I notice alot of people having trouble with voip lately...me included, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt

yeah i usually cant hear ppl over speakers that well
