Guides, eh? Hmm, well, I know a website that gives you a lot of info, yet, I forgot the name :/

Yet, if you just looking for tips and tricks there is a section on that at the top of BF2 Discussion.

There are several good guides for this game. To get a good start, I would use the search function here and search for "Guides". I would also search for "secrets". This will give you a good start!

Plenty of teamwork on vanilla, just stick to a clan/people you know and away you go.

Learn to jump and prone in certain patterns, deviation, etc and you will get better.
