There are times when playing is so satisfying and everything works the way you want it to work.
These moments are worth looking for and keep you hooked forever.
This story happens on Wake Island, my beloved map. I’m a SL and we are fighting for the airfield. Eventually I’m killed and I respawn at the North base.
I’m all alone when I notice this attack chopper trying to capture the flag. Another one is coming this way, too, a big transport chopper, but he’s far away for now.
Hold on there, mate, I disagree with you doing that – I’m saying to him, but he doesn’t hear me … so I aim and shoot an AT rocket. Hit! At this point, like a snake who has just been stepped on, the pilot lowers the nose of his bird and starts to look for the aggressor.
Ups! I hit the ground as fast as I can behind a tree, just in time to be missed by his powerful volley of missiles.
He passes over my head, trying to get a better angle, so I jump and get inside the concrete cabin nearby. Good cover, I say to myself, as bullets hit all over the wall, but miss me.
It’s silence. It’s time to hit again.
I get out quick and find him unprepared. Ha ha! I’ll end this decisively. I aim in a hurry, shoot and hit! WTF?!
The transport chopper manage to get between me and my pray and easily absorb the damage. Now two machine guns are searching for my fragile body. OMG, back in the cabin!
I take a peek out the window, but they are watching. No way could I send another rocket before they get me.
Hmm… I decide to get out the door, just as the chopper is going for that flag again. So here he is, in front of me, and the big chopper is on my right. Which should I kill first? Easy choice… Boom! The cat is dead! 2 kills.
Time to kill the cow… but it’s easy prey for 2 more rockets.
The mouse has an empty rocket launcher, but he’s heart is full of joy.
Good fight, mates!
