mmmm i got shot out of the pilots seat by a PKM once. i dunno how ? but lol

but by shooting at the chopper it instantly points you out then pilot will come over and kill you. im not complaining :P but its stupid

Only time i get out of my tank is if im getting C4ed in which case i blast the spec ops guy with my shotgun

I get out of my armor at 2 bars, drop an AT mine and try to repair it. If I haven't got time to drop an AT mine on it, then it's too much of a risk to try to salvage, since somebody could just as easily take my armor as I repair it. At least if the AT mine is there, if they take my armor, they die for their wrongdoing.

I also have the habit of playing a Spec-Ops as I tank whore, just so I can leave some C4 on the tank. If anybody steals it for any reason (Usually left alone as a trap.), and I'm still alive. I get a free C4 kill.

One more habit that I have if I'm a medic or sniper. I just rightclick drop a grenade as I run from the burning tank. That way I make sure it does blow up.

Yeah, I'm over cautious, but I've never had anybody steal my tank before while I cheaply salvage my K/D ratio.

but people really are getting stupid in bf2

oh man are they ever....I ABSOLUTELY HATE when idiots play with me...if im a sniper and find a nice hiding place, i get some nice kills and all of a sudden i have 5 other morons bunching up around me totaly giving my position away....or medics and support guys standing next to me while i hide...right next to me....then i get killed coz some moron cant find the ctrl key

i admit i often TK such idiots to save myself....i dont mind the -2 points...i get it back with kills

this is a completely different breed of moron, but i was just playing, and i kept asking for ammo. this other dude was RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. he wouldnt give it to me! i looked at his rank and he was a PFC, but i tried to walk him through it. i asked if he knew how to give ammo, and he didnt respond, so i told him how to use chat, BUT NOTHING WORKED. i was seriously asking for ammo for 4-5 minutes. then someone else saved the day. oh how stressful

i have always been on them. i find other maps to just be boring. i liked flying maps for about 2 weeks, but flying got boring fast, and if you're on a flying map and dont like flying, it kind of suck...to me atleast.

but i wouldnt consider myself a stat-whore. im all for fun.

I guess it's swings and roundabouts tbh, I have jumped out of my tank before, only to kill the unsuspecting Spec Ops busy putting C4 on me But that's the only situation I'd jump out of such a handy bit of kit.

Mind you, the amount of times I have had the same situation as the OP is laughable, but I'm not worried, I just steal their toy.

Hovering cobra on sharqi peninsula.... I had an M95... couldn't resist taking out the pilot... basically 4 points for 1 headshot

Don't forget that unforgettable time when a noob-pro pilot was hovering offshore in an F35 taking out all the people in the base of wake island... god i will never forget that noob-tube moment when i shot him down

That ALWAYS happens with me and medics. I just shoot them, take their kit, throw medbags on their face, teabag them, then rez him and walk around with him until he dies so I can get my kit back. Tough love. Shoot them and show them how to do it. Maybe now he'll learn. :evil:

Usually when I run up to C4 a tank, I'll hold down the e key while I do it. I've swiped SO many tanks and set up traps that way. What's even better is when the driver switches seats to the mounted mg on top and starts open firing and opens up his top half to a hail of bullets from all the assault and medic guys waiting for the spec ops and AT guys to do their job.
