Install and run Euro Force without "EA Link"!

I bought EF when it first came out Via the downloader. I only played a little bit before I changed my system. After that I never reinstall the EA downloarder untill today.

I downloaded EF, but when I go to play it (using the EA Link) It only boots up BF2!

Question 1

Do I need to re apply the 1.41 patch to get it to boot the EF?

Question 2

I hate the EA Link! Can't I start EF like BF2 and SF, off the desktop?

Were does EA Link put the EF install file?

Is't it a booster pack, forgive me if I am wrong, but shouldn't it boot up BF2 because it is just an add on to BF2 Vanilla. I never bought any of the booster packs but that was my understanding of them.

It isn't like Special forces. EF and AF do not have their own loading screens.

EF and AF servers run thru Battlefield 2.
