The only thing cross hair color would be helpful is TV crosshair color. And since you can't change that - what does it matter other than personal preferance. :)
Obviously you've never played an Anti-Tank trying to take a helicopter out of the sky before.

I can do it steadily on the darker maps since I can at least aim where I'm going, but on bright maps, I have to sit back an extra twenty feet just to look at the screen.

I try for a darker shade of pink, since even pink blends in with Dragon Valley and Dalian Plant's sky. That crosshair shade sucks for night maps, but I can barely ever find a server that plays Night Flight or Devil's Perch anyways. When I do, I just change it back to bright pink.

Cross hairs are useless if you can control the missle.

Step 1: Aim in general vacinity of said object
Step 2. Control missle towards object
                  Step 3. ???
                  Step 4. Profit

Would be cool too if I could slow down the bullets out of my gun - all Matrix like and all - then too I would never use cross hairs.

Again - cross hair color is just a preferance.

It will always be infinitely easier to hit your target, if you don't have to compensate your shot for a bad initial aim. This is true for TV-missles. This is true for IGLA/Stinger Missles. This is true for Jet Missles. This is true for Anti-Tank Guided Missles. This is painfully obvious for RPG's.

It's nice to know that you can hit the helicopter everytime, without regard of any visual circumstances to interfere, merely because your godlike skill allows you to control your missles with absolute accuracy in even the most dire of situations.

Feel free to argue if you want, but common sense is on my side. He says your mother wears army boots.

I wish all the helis I fought against sat still hovering in the distance.

I wish I could shoot facing away from the helicopter, and still be able to guide my shot directly into the cockpit. (Blatant Assumption to counter a Blatant Assumption.)

Often though, Helicopters do hover. Especially if the pilots are stupid as they try to guide their shots.

haha... I just recently changed mine to red thinking it would help w/ TV missiles... there's no way to change that from white!? That is without a doubt the most aggravating thing when you're trying to shoot down another chopper that is flying higher than you while in an attack heli and your pilot can't get above or level with him...

I use the stock color because I'm too lazy to change it.
