Its going to be Friday Feb. 15. Anyone going to be playing today? I am in the Central time zone. Tulsa,OK. I would love to play against some of you veterans. I just started playing about a month ago. I am trying to get my staff sergeant rank at the moment. I play under the name "esherhands"

Yes I mean the 16th. My bad.

And RocketChild, The only way I am to get better is to get "raped by an elephant" If I keep doing noobish things and keep getting away with them, I won't get any better. If I play with better players, I watch what they do and try to do the same. Although I usually play as a commander or squad leader. If I am a squad leader I usually go as support and stay out of the battles and try to stay alive and be a mobile spawn for my squad.

our server fills up pretty quickly
and you will NOT get better by playing AGAINST vets
but by playing WITH them and learning
get in squads - or better yet - get on ventrilo and join us and ask questions on tactics and team play
we have many members whose SKILLS were not superlative, but team play were, and they have now joined the ranks of the 'greats'

Well playing with them is pretty much what I meant. Playing against them, i will just die all the time. I do like the teamplay of a squad if you can get people to cooperate within the squad. I have been in squads that are just a group of lone wolves. That sucks! I like when we stay together and help each other out. That is what a squad is suppose to do... right? Anyway i will check out your site. I am in a christian clan for Halo, but am a "lonewolf" for BF2.

Just remember tactics can only go so far. In the end you always have to be able to win a firefight.
