bf2 wont work on vista???

i have vista and BF2 wont work. i can load it up but when i click join game it CTD everytime all my GFX drivers and sound drivers are up to date. patch it fine and reinstalled it twice.

help??

yes,

there is some trouble with PB that kicks you for inadiquite o/s privladges which you can overcome by right clicking the shortcut & running as admin.

thats if you get the CTD's sorted

you should also click on run in XPsp2 mode and run as admin. Just right click, properties, compatability and its right there.

your fault for buying vista when it first came out....

To prevent being kicked by punkbuster all you have to do is locate your bf2.exe and choose run as.. administrator.

If you are launching the game with an external program such as Qtracker, you must also run this as administrator because a process with only user level privilidges is not allowed to elevate to administrator privs.
