    Question????

    Hi guys,
Just a question in regards to my graphics,I have noticed in some of other people's screenshots there view distance looks great. My specs are 1GB Ram,3.07Ghz cpu,200Gb Hdd,Geforce 6200-256MB Video card.I have my settings set to low and have tryed (Med & High)but my view distance is really cloudy. If im in a jet or heli it just looks like im running in fog. It's not as bad as it sounds as i can still dogfight but find it very easy to loose them if thay venture to fare away from me.Is a video card upgrade in order to solve this problem or should i just fit fog lights to my jet or heli.I have the lattest drive updates for my video card but still waiting for that dam fog to lift.

view distance 100% and geometries on high are the main factors in determining your ability to score hits at range. better resolution also helps, but to answer your question, yes. a 6200 is going to chug badly, and a better video card would drastically improve your enjoyment of this game and most others.

what's your budget? assume you've got an AGP flavor motherboard?

Oh and FYI i have a 6600GTX O/C and 1GB RAM, 2.66GHz. So what im saying is that you should get something over a 6600GTX because i have to put my settings on low.

Yep, the 7800GS or the X1950 pro will be good. The problem is you will need 1.5gb or more to run all high.

                      A 7800gs + 1gb (2gb total) will make bf2 fly. Your next upgrade should be to a dual core, ddr2 800mhz+, pci-e mobo + dx10 gpu, but for now, you're gaming happy.

I'm still putting off a rebuild until September, but who knows?
