I hate DICE for what they've done to the BH miniguns. They are an absolute joke.

When moving, this POS doesnt even kill infantry when you pass over them and the hit flash shows. I understand realism isnt the goal, but its a ****ing minigun for Christs sake.

The guns on the attack choppers are screwy like that sometimes too, the @ssh@t pilot doesn't wanna slow down so I just spray the place, I see the little "x" in the crosshair, but it never kills anyone

It was much whined about when first nerfed, and now all that whining has pretty much stopped and people have come to accept the ****tiness of the blackhawk miniguns. :) They're not gonna change it back, why complain?

the other day i got killed by a blackhawk minigun.. i usually ignore them becuase they cant hit squat but like i said, it got me : /

Well a reduction was needed, but I agree, they went totally overboard. Now they're useless. But that's DICE for you. They program the game and don't even test it. Then they make a change and don't even test it. We paid to beta the game for them.. since release.

You were supposed to buy Bf2.142 after you finished beta testing BF2 1.41.

Note: I'm boycotting BF2.142 until at least BF2 1.fixed

Back on topic, yes. Infantry should hide from a blackhawk, instead of standing in the middle of the farckering street and firing rpg's at her under a hail of deadly popcorn.

You can thank all the whiners that cried about the BH pre-1.3 for that!

If they would have left the game the way it was out of the box (minus the bugs)! Can you just amagine how much more popular this game would have been, if EA would have just stood firm on their sales hipe "ALL-OUT WAR on the MODERN BATTLEFIED"

The guns can still kill, if you aim them well. I was flying round a squad member on the last flag against China, when he managed to get a decent hit, everything within that region was toast. Of course, because the splash damage is non-existant, he was lucky to get a kill in 1 in 5 shots.

I agree totally with you. They nerfed it, that was good. But they nerfed it WAY too much!

Not only did they remove any hit detection when moving, the arc and over heating are terrible. In just a few seconds you are locked up, and then you have the choice of either firing for only 1 second, or letting your enemy walk freely as you wait till your gun cools right down.
