  • whites whisps of air from the wings

    just a thought that came to me, but u kno how when ur in a jet and u turn slightly, u see like a trail of white froming from the ends of ur wings? wat is that/what is the cause of that?

    something like the wings cuts theu the air maiing condensation or soething

        check this out:


        Since vortices cause a low-pressure area at their centre, sometimes water precipitates out to form clouds in the vortex cores, allowing wingtip vortices to be seen. This is most common on aircraft flying at high angles of attack, such as fighter aircraft pulling high G manoeuvres, or airliners landing.

                  No, no no no. You don't want to get cought behind a C-17 vortex. Stingers and IGLAS may not take down J-10s, but a C-17s wake turbulance will.

                  But yeah what the others have said is correct. It is simply condensation, caused by a high angle of attack, the right temperature and your speed.
