All I can pick on the globe is Asia, does that mean it's all Asian servers? Not that it matters, I'm getting used to high pings as I can't stand the VAST majority of Australian servers.


EDIT/ I'm reading the help section of the website and this could be just what I'm looking for. I don't see a replacement for BF coming out anytime soon. Armed Assualt just doesn't seem to interest me. It looks all washed out and not as clean looking as BF. Sure more detail just unfinished.

No, servers are placed in US. Atlanta I think.
I don't really know what armies are open for new recruits now, but if you get sponsored you can join any army. I'm in the 24P - China army, Metallica is in the 3UK - British Army.

Is there some form of trial on this or anything maybe a server or 2 u can join with the people who play in the matches?.. bit lost on the site cant find the help section , and how does one go about getting someone to sponsore him, i dont no anyone who plays this, but i count myself as a very good all round player..

playing MTW2 right now for a change from the FPS thing .
playd rome total war and barbarian invasion before i started BF2 .
i think its good to change the type of game not just the game :)

I would like to see a game like BF2 with better game modes, bigger maps, and ability to have 256 players. I guess Im wishing for the moon though, right. The modern combat thing, with no real goal except kill the enemy and take all the map really suites me well. I still get killed a lot but I like it, its a rush. . . . . . .Red


*I would also like to put any army on any map, it might make for some fun game play. Maybe spetsnatz and seals on Karkand. . . . .LOL

For me vBF2 is dead im just hoping the mods will last me a couple of more years than ill buy a new high spec pc and play whatever the big games is then maybe BF3 if EA dont screw it up that much.
