Screen goes black???

i had been grounded for a month because of grades, so I wasnt allowed to play bf2, so yesterday i was ungrounded and couldnt find the 1st disc, but then found it. i put it in and started the game up. evrything was fine untill i went to play online. when i clicked a server to join the screen went black and the game exited; single player works fine any ideas on what to do???

I dont think its the cd problem. Have you tried reinstalling the game?

So which is it? I thought your primary disk was cut up by your brother.
