A possible fix from the tech stickie:

[Problem - Stick/Laggy Keyboard mouse movement
    Cause - ATItools, maybe others
Fix - - Some users have reported that ATItools 0.25, possibly other versions cause sticky/laggy keys in BF2. TO fix this, uninstall this application from your PC.
Other things to try are a reinstall of BF2, Updating your keyboard drivers if nessecary, have the keyboard plugged into its own USB port.

Mine used to do that a lot when I had low RAM. The keyboard "processes" would make the computer beep which, I think, means RAM overload and then it would do whatever I pressed in that sequence.

unplug your keyboard and start spamming keys, some of your keys can get stuck and it causes this. Just move your hands all around pressing buttons really fast
